It was April of 2021, Damien & Kyri were on shift working a “homicide”. Kyri “says” she didn’t pay any attention to the new rookies but she saw Damien on scene and asked if he had some chips or a snack. Damien just looked at her like “who is this girl talking to”! Kyri rolled her eyes and kept going, they were already on the call for over three hours. The next day Damien started randomly talking junk to Ky! (Flirting, lol) As they were getting off from work (at 1am) Ky was playing a gospel song, Lee Williams “Come See About Me” really loud and Damien stopped his car to talk more trash! He made the comment that Ky knew nothing about that kind of music. After a short conversation Damien asked for the number. Lol! From that day forward the two became close and began hanging out more. Damien would send scriptures at random times of the day asking for Ky to break them down. Dates were weekly and cooking together became a break away from the duties of Officers. Khloe & TruMiracle met Damien nearly a year later and they immediately became “roll dogs”. Damien cannot move without either one stopping him to question his movements. Now time has passed, if Damien isn’t home by a certain time they are trying to figure out how long it will be or try to stay up until he returns. God truly made this union happen! Forever the center of their lives!
