Mt. Tabor Park
Mount Tabor is very special to us. It's where we discussed our feelings, where Beth proposed to Kendall, and where we took our engagement photos. Gorgeous views and easy hiking.
Arch Bridge Taphouse
This is our favorite place to grab a burger!!
Lone Fir Cemetery
This is our favorite cemetery to visit. We love to hit up the nearby pizza place and then take a walk through here. It’s also one of Oregon’s most treasured historic places and Portland’s second-largest arboretum, with more than 700 trees representing 67 species. Twenty-five thousand people are buried here.
Corner 14 Foodcarts Spirits & Brew
This is our go to food carts when we can't decide what to eat. Plenty of options and there's a taphouse/bar inside.
Mary S. Young Park
Mary S. Young is one of our favorite parks. We love to walk down the trails to the water and it's great for swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Might be chilly in October to be in the water, but still a great walking area.
St. Helens
A wonderful Halloween trip, the birthplace of Halloweentown! Some Twilight scenes were also filmed in St. Helen's along with other movies.
Portland Japanese Garden
Such a beautiful and tranquil place. And so close to the Rose Garden and Washington Park. Definitely worth a visit (we love it so much, we became members).
