There is parking on site at the barn for all events.
There will be a shuttle to and from Smuggs and to and from Burlington. Ubers/Lyfts are sparse near the venue and are not a reliable option. Please make a plan to have a designated driver if you anticipate staying somewhere other than Smuggs or Burlington and reach out if there are concerns. We have a lot of non-drinkers who may be able to do some shuttling around Saturday night. Cars can be left at Boyden overnight if needed.
Our invites say by July 3rd, but due to the delay in getting those in the mail we will extend the deadline to August 3rd.
Friday Welcome Party: - Cocktail attire preferred - Our photographer will be present for some portion of the night - Men: suits or tailored separates, no ties needed - Women: midi length dresses, skirts, or whatever you are most comfortable in, block heels or wedges suitable for grass - We plan to be outside all night so please check the weather and bring layers! Saturday Ceremony and Reception - Formal attire, no specific color palette - Men: suit, tie, and dress shoes - Women: floor or ankle length dresses, block heels or wedges suitable for grass - The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside and the reception will take place in the barn. Please bring layers as needed. Sunday sendoff: - Casual attire, come as you are! - Plan to be outside, weather permitting
We will have some light refreshments being served starting at 3pm. Please plan to arrive by 3:30pm to allow time for everyone to get settled prior to a prompt 4pm ceremony start.
No kids, sorry!
When you enter your name on the RSVP page, if it says your name "and Guest", we have planned on you bringing a date. If you do not see "and Guest" and you think we have made a mistake, please reach out to Oona or Gordon.
We have a discount code at Smugglers Notch (please see "travel" page) up the road and will provide a shuttle to and from the venue (Saturday only). There are several nice-looking airbnbs in the area. If you prefer to stay in Burlington, we do not have any specific recommendations but there are several hotels at various price points. If we have a large group staying in Burlington, we will provide a bus to and from the venue on Saturday. Hotels and airbnbs in Stowe will book out early with leaf-peepers and will be more expensive than Cambridge or Burlington.
