Ours is another modern day love story: shout out to Bumble for connecting us! While Mike's texting game may not have convinced Wendy to go on a date with him by themselves, the promise of a free meal at a new ramen joint called Mogu Mogu was too much for her to resist. From our first in person encounter, the chemistry was undeniable, and soon one date led to another which led to another. However our journey was not without it's challenges: Wendy's work travels, Mike's residency schedule, and literally the week after our first weekend trip together, the COVID19 pandemic shut the whole world down. After a socially distanced hike and a few outdoor picnics, we realized we were within each other's inner circle and there was no looking back. Over the next few years our relationship grew on a steady diet of culinary expeditions, outdoor exploits, and travel adventures. Friends were introduced, families connected, and before we knew it we moved into our condo together. Despite much apprehension surrounding our different styles of maintaining a living space, the transition couldn't have been smoother. So we decided to put our relationship to the final test: Mogu may not have been exactly the cat we were looking to adopt, but he turned out to be exactly the cat we needed. We found we couldn't be happier with the life we had created together, and our love for each other continued to grow. So under the guise of an anniversary celebration, Mike gifted Wendy a gift bag full of tokens to commemorate their relationship, and culminating in the start of the next stage of their lives together. That's our story, from Mogu Mogu to Mogu, and we can't wait to celebrate the start of our next chapter with you all!
