FAQs

If you have any questions other than what we've listed here, please reach out to the bride or groom.
Question

When is the wedding?

Answer

August 25, 2023 at 5:30 PM at Knotting Hill Place in Little Elm, Texas.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and the ceremony starts as scheduled.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Guests will have until July 10th to RSVP. After that date, guests will no longer be able to RSVP.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar so we highly suggest using a rideshare service or carpooling if you plan to drink.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. This includes cocktail dresses, dressy separates, suits or a dress shirt and slacks (a tie being optional). No jeans or sneakers allowed. At the request of the bride and groom, please refrain from wearing white.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! Hotel room blocks can be found under the "Hotels" tab on our website.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM in the beautiful cathedral. Upon completion of the ceremony, guests will head outdoors to the courtyard for cocktail hour, contingent on the weather. Guests will then return inside to the grand ballroom for the reception.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

The ceremony will be unplugged so photos and videos are not allowed during this time; however, for the rest of the evening, we encourage guests to post pictures and videos using our wedding hashtag #OnTheWayToOnyina so we can see them, too!
