Barnegat Lighthouse State Park
Visit ol Barney & climb the 217 steps to the top if you’re up for the challenge! Even if you’re not looking to become a stair-master, this spot has beautiful scenery and picnic tables to take it all in. You can also walk out as far as you can on the beach! This is another favorite spot of ours.
Bay Village/Schooners Wharf
Pop down to Bay Village for Ship Bottom Brewery, fudge, and shops! Note that a lot of these shops close after Labor Day, but some do stay open. Still worth a visit to check it all out! A bit further south of Bay Village are more great shops and boutiques - these typically stay open past Labor Day/year round. One of my favorite shops there is called The Dune Market!
Holgate Beach
The southernmost point of LBI, Holgate is a great place for a long walk on the beach, collecting seashells, and watching some surfers in action!
For the Onofrios - Visit Mom-mom & Pop-pop’s memorial brick
The Onofrios dedicated a brick to their late parents and grandparents, located on the walkway of the Ship Bottom Waterfront Park, Fishing & Crabbing Pier. Stop by for a visit with them ♥️
