Our Love Won! Thanks for supporting us!

Dear Family and Friends! Many of you know that Tyrone and I originally met in the 1990s during our days working at Allstate's corporate offices. After a short time together we went our separate ways, literally and figuratively. Fast forward a decade later, and it was totally a chance meeting in March 2010 that reconnected us at the Hyde Park UPS Store, and began our second-time-around love story. You see as fate would have it, I went into this UPS to handle some business and there on a computer, sat Tyrone. He looked exactly the same to me as he did all those years ago...still bald and clean shaven. He said "Hello" as I exited and I said "Hi". I walked down the street to a bank and while there, a voice inside my head kept repeating "Go Back, Go Back, Go Back", and so I returned. Boy am I glad that I did! We stood inside talking for nearly an hour, exchanged numbers, and then spoke later that evening for four more. Early on our relationship was long-distance, because for three years Tyrone worked in New Jersey. However, fate again smiled on us when in March 2013 he landed a job back in Chicago. We celebrated his homecoming and new job with friends and family! Since then our laughs have been many, our travels have been numerous, we've made countless memories and our love has truly flourished! Our engagement happened on Christmas morning 2019, just two days before leaving for our trip to Ghana, West Africa. Our love then survived a global pandemic, and we decided to take the next step. It is with great pleasure that we announce our story continues with nuptials on April 30, 2022! We have decided because of our love of travel, to have a destination wedding in beautiful Barbados, West Indies and welcome your presence at our garden ceremony!
