Meet my best friend Laurén who was an early cheerleader for Carlos (Laurén: pronounced LOR-wren). Laurén is the kind of friend who answers the phone when I've called in the middle of the night scared because of an earthquake. Heck, she ALWAYS answers my calls. She's the Kind of friend who makes you belly laugh until you cry, the kind of person who treats my dogs like her own and loves unconditionally. Our friendship goes beyond the norm and I consider her family for life. Fun Fact: I have never seen ANYONE beat Laurén in a game of trivia. I am so proud she is my maid of honor.

Meet my sister Corrie who's two adorable children will also be participating in our wedding. I always say I am lucky to call Corrie my sister because she is ALSO one of my best friends and mentors. Corrie was an early supporter of Carlos and raved about how much she approved of him upon meeting him. She told me clearly that she saw a difference in my happiness and all the reasons we were a match. It means the world coming from her being married herself over 10 years. I know she will continue to support us over the years when we need it most. Theres so such thing as a quick phone call with us, we have traveled yearly to shared vacations and I have crashed almost every Christmas at her home in Port Credit, Canada. I am so happy she'll be by my side as my Matron of honor.

My sister-in-law Alana Harding plays an important role in my life. She has been with my brother since they were in High school and is someone who I have always looked up to. She was always so sweet to me growing up, never treating me like the "little sister" and always welcoming me to join in on all the fun. She's got a heart of gold who has continually encouraged my artistic endeavors, which means the world to me as SHE is one talented woman. Her son Bowen will be a part of the wedding ceremony as well and I am so honored they will be at my side for the big day!

"My Canadian Best Friend" is how Michie is known to my group on the west coast. I have been bestie's with Michie since we were 15 years old. When we met, Michie was a successful DJ and I was a drum n bass MC. LOL I am so grateful we have continued to stay just as close being so far away. Every trip to Toronto means Michie is a part of that trips plans, but she has also visited California many times. My family considers her part of our family, and that will never change. Michie is a one of a kind woman who can be seen whipping around Toronto on her Triumph Motorcycle or making us all laugh with her incredible sense of humor. I am so honored she will be standing up with me as we say I DO.
