If you are staying at the resort, the FREE PCR COVID test for return travel is INCLUDED. The hotel will set up your appt upon check in so its done and DONE. They have streamlined the process- its super simple. For the record, YOU DO NOT NEED TO SHOW ANYTHING REGARDING VACCINATION OR NEGATIVE COVID TEST TO ENTER MEXICO!! NADDA, zilch, NOPE! Cheers.

Is Airport transfer included?

YES. Free airport transport to and from the hotel are included with your booking! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EMAILED LARS YOUR FLIGHT INFORMATION TO GET YOUR FREE SHUTTLE!! Your email from LARS has your shuttle voucher and all directions you need to find your transfer. It’s super simple! We promise.

MEXICO TOURIST CARD? Why do I fill this out b4 travel?

If you have read your emails from LARS, at some point you will see a LINK to fill out the Mexico tourist card. We are asked to have this done prior to travel. YOU NEED IT TO COME HOME TOO. Fill it out online, PRINT IT and have it with you in your passport. Its stamped at entry to Mexico and saves you time at customs. There was no forms left when we traveled in April and had to wait and get in some massive line. Just go to the site below and fill yours out PER PERSON- Print and bring along with you- done and done. :) https://www.mexicotouristcard.com - The Tourist Card is FREE for ALL PASSENGERS traveling "By Air" with a Major Commercial Airline. - You can apply for a Tourist Card within 30 days of your arrival to Mexico. - The information in the application MUST match the information in the PASSPORT. - The flight information you need to enter (Airline Name and Flight Number) is your ARRIVAL FLIGHT to Mexico

CAN WE DRINK THE WATER?

The resort will tell you YES, the answer is NO. Unless you see it come out of a BOTTLE, simply do not drink the tap water. I asked for sparkling water at restaurants so I ensured it was bottled. When you sit down at a restaurant the water on the table is filtered tap water but I promise it will make you sick. Its not WORTH it. Play it safe and ask for bottled or sparkling every time- thank me later :)

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We welcome children to join us in celebrating our wedding day. Children are welcome at the ceremony, reception and the welcome party TOO! Late evening shows at Casita's and the property at El Dorado Casitas Royale are adult only.

There’s a dress code at the resort, is it strict?

We did not find this to be strictly enforced but we recommend avoiding their NON PERMITTED items at dinner especially. DRESS CODE - DINNER LADIES: Dresses, skirts, long pants, shoes, Capri pants and elegant sandals. GENTLEMAN: Long pants, collared shirts and casual shoes. PERMITTED: Formal bermudas and formal sandals. NOT PERMITTED:: Baseball caps, peaks, tank tops & flip-flops and sport shorts. DRESS CODE BREAKFAST/ LUNCH LADIES: Sun dresses, cover ups, elegant sandals, T-shirts and skirts. PERMITTED: Shorts, T-shirts, flip flops. GENTLEMAN: Long pants, formal bermudas, polo shirts, sleeved T-shirts, sandals and tennis shoes. PERMITTED: Shorts, sleeved T-shirts, flip flops. NOT PERMITTED: Swimming suites, bikinis with no cover up, tank tops, sleeveless shirts, baseball caps.

Should I bring a Sippy Cup for the resort pool?

Answer

YES! We had insulated stainless steel cups with lids and straws and it was the BEST. Keeps your drinks super cold and you know which is yours! Plus, more drank can FIT! The best. Bring your own cup to the resort for sure!!
