Kait met Macy through school at Galesburg-Augusta. Macy was two years older but they often saw each other around since G-A is so small. They both played softball growing up and even competed in Little Miss Galesburg around the same time. Even though they were often seeing each other in the hallways, they didn't get close until they both moved to Grand Valley State University. Macy reached out to Kait and from there on the rest is history! Macy often comes up to visit Kait and Reid, shes the perfect third wheel! Macy and Kait have spent so many trips traveling together, they've attended women's retreats, and shes always willing to give a helping hand. She's amazing and we know you'll think so too.
Sierra Jensen

Kait and Sierra's (CC) story surprisingly started in preschool in Comstock, MI. Fast forward to 3rd grade. Sierra was the new kid, and her and Kait immediately became attached at the hip, spending as much time together as possible. Often playing video games, dancing like lunatics and doing anything they could to mess with her little sister, Sam. It wasn't until about a year later going through preschool documents that we realized we had attended preschool together! There were many pictures of the two of them together! We knew it felt like we knew each other longer than we did! Kait and Sierra ran track, played basketball and performed in band together throughout middle school and high school. Sierra moved to TN after HS, and married her husband Andrew. Kait and CC are still the best of friends despite distance.
Hunter Jones

Kait and Hunter met in middle school. Our parents were mutual friends of each other, often spending time on the weekends camping at a friends property at Little Long Lake. Eventually we got our own tent and we'd have sleepovers with parental supervision close by. Stealing cookies when the dads left fishing in the morning, swimming/canoeing in the afternoon and catching frogs. Although we attended different schools we were often hanging out, going to youth shoots, dreaming about our first kiss with a boy, shooting guns in the backyard and being there for each other through difficult times. Make sure to give her a smile and love on our big day 💛 it’s also her birthday 🥳 I'm so thankful she agreed to spending her birthday with us to help us tie the knot!

Lexy and Kait met bartending the the Barn about three years ago and have been friends since! Lexy's chocolate lab, Ruger and Kait's chocolate lab, Moose are also the best of friends. You can find the four of them frequently having puppy parties. Lexy is the life of the party. You'll likely find her tearing up the dance floor with a drink in her hand (if shes not working). I'm convinced she can have a fun time anywhere. Lexy has been a great friend to have, she's always there ready to lend a helping hand or ear. We're so excited to have her be a part of our big day <3.

Moose Wrangler
Kait and Reid met Christian (Fridge) through the pipeline. He's been a great friend to us (and Moose). We're so thankful for Fridge's friendship and watching Moose for us when we go out of town. Fridge spoils him so much when they're together we often joke that Moose never wants to come home, and often have to loosen his collar when he does! Catch him wrangling Moose during the ceremony, and getting the party started at the reception. Don’t let his looks fool you, he’s guaranteed to drop it lower than you ever could.

Many of you already know Moose! Kait got him as a puppy when she was 15. She begged and begged to her dad to get him, and he eventually gave in. Moose has became her best friend throughout every heartbreak and every victory. He came with her when she officially moved to the area to go to school. Reid had an immediate connection with him since he also grew up with a chocolate Lab. He's been our best buddy the last 6 years together as a couple, and we cannot imagine not having him there on our big day. If you see him give him a good scratch and tell him how good of a boy he is - he'll welcome it!
Drew Patterson
Best Man
You may recognize this handsome fella walking around the reception due to his striking good looks (it runs in the family). Drew is the best-man/best brother and college student at the University of Arkansas, majoring in Marketing and Management with a minor in Sustainability. Reid and Drew had some incredible times growing up, sometimes beating each other up in the process. Ask either of them about Turtle Hockey, I’m sure there will be some smiles and stories (some do end up in the hospital). Growing up was a blast for the two of them, and Drew is sure to get the party started! GO HOGS! (Horns down forever)
Nick Jeffries

Bald but beautiful, this man’s smile will light up a room and his beard will melt your hearts. Sorry, ladies; this handsome groomsman is taken! Nick and his Wife Makenzie live in Ponder Texas with their two adorable pups Octavius and Finnick. Reid and Nick first met in Royal Ambassadors at First Baptist Carrollton in elementary school but did not quite become close friends until High School. From sleepovers at Nick's house, countless hours at Main Event, and 10 seasons of fantasy football, these two can always strike up a conversation about sports.
Paul Smith
Groomsman
This dynamite looker will most likely be seen by wherever there is food. If he isn’t eating, he will most likely be taking the Groom for a spin on the dance floor. Paul and his Fiancé Brittany just moved to Aubrey, TX with their new little dude, Cayden. Reid and Paul have been through a bunch over the years. JV Basketball at Creekview, Ice Fishing in the Upper Peninsula, and countless chats on the phone about sports and girls, these two have been fast friends since they first met. Ask him about his Tennessee Volunteers, and you might be in for a long convo!
Tyler Flath

Also known as FLITTY/ TFlitty. Fun fact: Tyler was one of Reid’s first friends in Michigan. Reid met him through his old roommate, and they quickly became friends. Kait met him when a mutual friend invited him downtown for her 21st birthday. We all quickly became good friends, often playing pool and cards together. Tyler and Kait have also have been working together at the car dealership for the last three and a half years before he moved on to better opportunities June of 2022. Ty might be on Reid's side for the wedding, but he very well could be a bro'smaid as well.
Sara Justewicz
Mistress of Ceremonies
Kait and Sara met in Ecology lab at Grand Valley State University. It's crazy to think they wouldn't have met if Kait would have just passed the class the first time! They quickly became friends being lab partners, and after having their men meet each other they quickly hit it off as well. Sara moved back to the east side after completing her degree, got married to her HS sweetheart, Johnny, and have started a family together. Kait and Reid have stayed close with them throughout the seasons of life, and have even attended a Packers vs Lions game in Detroit this past winter. Sara reached out to me after we got engaged, wanting to start her own event planning business Big Day Visions, and I've been so thankful for all of the help and insight she's given us!
Michael Moore
Officiant
Michael is the brides uncle! He has officiated many weddings in the Moore family, and has been married to his wife, Linda, for 49 years this September! Mike enjoys horseback riding, volunteering in the Kalamazoo Mounted Division, and even has his own hot air balloon named "Shenanigans". He's been a great role model to Kait and Reid. When you see him give him a big thank you for us, he gave up a big hot air balloon festival in NM to help us join together in marriage and celebrate our big day. We love you, Uncle Mike!
