Grand Rapids Gerald R Ford Airport is the closest to us (GRR). GRR is Reid's and my favorite airport because of how easy it is (so don’t be too intimidated by a new place)! American Airlines flies a few direct flights from DFW to GRR a day, so that’s a great option! GRR is located northeast of Grand Rapids and about 50 minutes from our venue. Rental car/Turo will be needed.

Hotel Booking/places to stay

PLEASE NOTE: the fall in Michigan is a big tourist time for us, especially along Lake Michigan. Rooms are booking fast in the area because of this, and also the wedding boom of 2022. We recommend staying in Grand Haven or Holland. Both are the same distance from the venue which is located in the middle. Holland may be a little cheaper, but they are having their fall festival the same weekend of our wedding, so be aware of that! Please reach out to Kait or Reid with any questions! This is a great option halfway between the airport and the venue, and it's also quite near our home, right off of Lake Michigan Drive. It's an easy drive to the venue. Ask for the Moore-Patterson wedding rate!

Harbor House Inn

The Harbor House is a lovely bed-and-breakfast option for those seeking a quieter location. Great views of the channel and a five minute drive to Grand Haven Beach and Lake Michigan. There is not a Moore-Patterson wedding rate, but the rates currently posted on their website are accurate for the fall reservations. We suggest calling the Inn directly to make reservations, so you can be sure to describe the type of room and view you want!

On the south side of town, this is a great option for those returning to the Kalamazoo area or those needing to get back to GRR airport.
