Dalton and Morgyn both went to Edgewood High School. Morgyn would come in after getting off the bus and stand with her friends in the hallway. Dalton would always walk by, but Morgyn never knew who he was. They always made eye contact and smiled at each other. Morgyn soon learned that he was a goalkeeper for the men's team (that was a bonus point). They started hanging out in the same friend group and Morgyn knew from there, she had a CRUSH!
After talking all day, all night, and hanging out almost every night... Dalton finally figured out the perfect way to ask Morgyn out. Both the men's and women's team were playing at Middletown HS this day. Dalton had all of their friends distract Morgyn while he changed out her goalie gloves before her game. Morgyn got back and everyone was giggling and smiling and she could tell something was up. She looked in her soccer bag (not going to lie, she gave him some attitude) and noticed her goalie gloves were not in there. Everyone kept telling Morgyn to take them out and (Morgyn, still upset that her gloves are missing) look at them! Morgyn opened them up and Dalton had written, "Be my keeper?" on a pair of gloves. She felt so embarrassed for getting upset. That day started their forever.
Almost 8 years later, here they are. They bought their own house, they have 2 amazing (crazy) dogs and they love each other more than ever. Yes, Morgyn has bugged Dalton on when this would happen and how long he would make her wait (hopefully not longer than her parents LOL). On this morning, Dalton woke up early and made breakfast for the two of them. Morgyn was still asleep so he knew it was the perfect time to get everything ready. He even watched a YouTube video on how to make sunny side up eggs since those are Morgyn's favorite. Dalton laid the plate of food on a table with Sunny D and a candle lit. He struggled on waking Morgyn up (clearly not a morning person) but once she did, there he was, already on one knee. She had dreamt of this day for so long. She finally gets to marry her best friend!
