Colombo
Food: - The Green Cabin, for all of Sri Lanka’s famous short eats and bites. - Nugagama in Cinnamon Grand Hotel, for authentic Sri Lankan food in a traditional Sri Lankan Village style setting. - Dutch hospital, an old colonial precinct in Colombo which used to serve as a hospital but has been converted into a modern shopping and dining complex. It is home to the famous crab restaurant ‘Ministry of Crab’. Sites: - National Museum of Colombo, which showcases art, sculptures and historical artefacts pertaining to Sri Lanka’s history. - Gangaramaya Temple, an iconic Budhist Temple in Colombo which also houses a museum with valuable relics donated to the temple. - Colombo Lighthouse & Galle Face Green, one of the oldest lighthouses in Sri Lanka. Galle Face Green is a great location to view the sunset over the Indian Ocean, and has many food stalls spread across the green. - Spa Ceylon- for a massage!
