Maid of Honor
Sarah and Michelle have been best friends since fourth grade when they embraced their true nerdy selves and competed in Battle of the Books. From endless sleepovers, rock concerts and family vacations, they’ve always been a dynamic duo. This friendship has persisted across the International Date Line as Sarah moved to the opposite side of the Earth to return The One Ring to Mordor and flip over some sheep—or whatever it is they do in New Zealand.
Best Woman
Amanda and Travis' friendship formed as a perfect blend of personality traits that allowed them to rule the Riverview High School marching band together as a pair of iron fists (it's cooler than it sounds). In present day, they enjoy critiquing people's life choices and arguing over their vast political differences. Despite all that, Travis had the honor of serving as Amanda's officiant at her wedding in 2019, so she now gets the honor of being his best woman.
Bridesmaid
Sophie and Michelle met in orchestra at Florida Southern College. Music has kept them together through the years, whether it was going to Sophie’s first MPA as an orchestra director or seeing the Riverview High School winter guard perform. Doggie play dates, wine and cheese nights and stressing over the Animal Crossing stalk market are hallmarks of these two’s friendship. (Travis also wants it mentioned that he officiated her wedding in November.)
Groomsgal
Bre was Travis' partner in high school French class; Bre was known as Danielle and Travis was Antoine (because it was the first name on the list and that's how much effort he put into his Franco studies). Bre could always count on Travis to attend her high school dance events and check on her dogs while out of town—and now he’s counting on her to catch him if he faints. If Travis gets 10+ texts in two seconds, it's definitely Bre on the other end... Assuming they're not already FaceTiming each other.
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and Michelle met while she was in the same master’s degree program at USF with Travis. One day Michelle and Travis decided to take Oswald, an only corg at the time, to the USF St. Petersburg campus and Michelle and Stephanie hit it off immediately. They have both become best friends and corgi moms of two, while sharing an immense, refined love for alcohol and food... And they love to play psychological warfare with their partners’ minds.
Groomsman
Trevor and Travis are so close their own parents often call them by the wrong name, so they both respond whenever they hear someone say "Tr-." Trevor was actually Travis' boss as the band director at Riverview High School, but everyone knows Travis actually made all the big decisions (and wrote all the emails)—and it's a wonder their personal relationship lasted through their professional one. (There was a very intense argument over how to do a triangle in drill formation.)
Bridesman
Michelle and Trey were forcibly acquainted 25 years ago when he entered her once peaceful home. As siblings go, it could’ve gone worse. He turned out to have a decent sense of humor and good taste in both TV shows and music—although he could’ve picked a less annoying instrument to pursue. Our original plan was to include both siblings, but Travis’ brother Austin will be deployed to South Korea come January so he will be unable to attend; we’ll let you try and guess who the substitute was on Travis’ side.
Groomsman
Joel beat all odds and made it into this exclusive group despite being a religious Android user, but he is forgiven because of all the help he has given Travis in such important facets of life such as Super Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8. Joel is the only one who will never say no to Applebee's and one of the people who kept Travis sane during his undergrad time at USF. Most importantly, Joel serves as Travis' go to translator when he sees Hispanic memes online and wants to be in on the action.
Bridesman
Michelle and Cameron met when he was just a little freshman in Riverview’s marching band. Since none of us can leave band once getting sucked in, they have remained friends helping out with the band program as staff members. Over the years there have been many trips to Disney, late nights at Smokey Bones and, most importantly, Cameron was instrumental in Travis’ proposal plans.
Groomsman
Phil is arguably the smartest person in the wedding party, just ask him about amino acids. Like almost everyone else, Phil is another from the high school band group of friends. Even though Phil has never invited Michelle or Travis to see his own band perform live, he is notably the only person Travis and Michelle have trusted enough (or been able to fool) to watch Mortimer overnight while they're out of town.
