We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Derek and Emily met through a mutual friend midway through their college years. Their first date was at the Friendly's in Rutland where Derek didn't even finish his lunch because he was so nervous! Emily and Derek celebrated graduations, long distance, moving in together and getting their best friend (and biggest bed hog), Tuckerman. On January 7th, while Emily was at work, she was called out to the back where the buses drop students off to "support a student on the bus". Emily ran out, but much to her surprise, there was no student that needed help, just Derek on one knee! "What are you doing right now?!" was all that Emily could say. Proposing! That's what he was doing!
