Hotel
You won’t need to arrange accommodations on your own—we’ve taken care of that for you! We’ve secured beautiful accommodations for all guests in Saumur, including rooms at Château de Jalesnes, the sister château next door, and a nearby hotel. Every option is charming and close by, and we’ve already reserved a spot for each of you. Pricing will vary by location, typically ranging from €91–€220 per person per night. Once you’ve RSVP’d, our wedding planner will email you your personalized accommodation plan, pricing details, and next steps for booking.
Travel Note
If you’re planning to join us for the full wedding weekend—beginning with the Welcome Party on Thursday, September 24th—we recommend arriving in Paris on Tuesday or Wednesday. Spend the night in the city, then take the TGV high-speed train to Saumur on Thursday morning, where all wedding events will take place. You’ll stay in Saumur through the weekend, and after our Au Revoir Brunch on Sunday, September 27th, we’ll provide transportation back to the Saumur train station for your departure. Additional travel details are available below.
Flight
We recommend flying into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). If you haven’t flown into Paris before, note that CDG is about 45 minutes from the city, so you’ll need to take a taxi or rideshare into town. Plan to arrive in Paris 1–2 days before the events to give yourself time to settle in and make the trip to the château. We don’t recommend taking the train to Saumur on the same day as your flight.
Train
Book your tickets on SNCF-Connect using the route Gare Montparnasse → Gare Saumur. Most trips include one quick transfer in Tours, Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, or Angers, but some are direct. The total ride is about 2.5 hours, and tickets typically range from €30–€55. When you arrive at Gare Saumur, we’ll have a car service ready to take you to Château de Jalesnes. If you’d like a pickup, you can share your train arrival time once booked with our wedding planner, and she will make arrangements. *SNCF releases tickets four months in advance, so September routes will appear in May.
