It was December 2017 when we first met. Tony had recently moved to Florida from Philadelphia and was working at Del Frisco's Grille. Rebecca previously worked at the Grille, but always kept in close contact with her former co-workers (now affectionally known as "Fam Bam"). Our best friend, Pam, was having a Christmas party and invited all of our friends. We instantly connected. Throughout the years, we both were in the same friend group. There were many birthday dinners, outings in Ybor, house parties, pool days, festivals, and movie nights. We always knew that we had a connection, but we were still trying to open our hearts to one another. In July of 2019, a huge group of us went to Key West. The mixture of sun, ocean water, laughter and fun, truly cemented our feelings for one another. It was during that time that we both realized how much we cared about each other. From that point on, our love deepened and grew stronger. Our love of travel and adventure brought us to many places. Whether it was hiking along waterfalls in Oregon, going for bike rides in Fire Island, or watching the sunset at Picnic Island, we always knew we wanted to experience the magic of life with one another. In December of 2022, we took a vacation to Aruba, where Rebecca has spent many vacations with her family. On December 12th, at a beautiful restaurant on the beach, Tony said, "I need to ask you a question". He stood up, dropped to one knee and professed that he had found his soulmate, and if Rebecca would spend the rest of her life with him. Our journey began as friends who liked to have fun, but developed into a strong, loving, and compatible relationship. At the end of the day, we each found our better half and are so excited to begin this new chapter in our lives.
