Historic Downtown Huntsville
If you’re looking to unearth one-of-a-kind treasures or for some delicious food, look no further than downtown Huntsville. With an abundance of antique and boutique stores, as well as restaurants and coffee shops, there’s plenty to see, do, and taste here. Downtown Huntsville also hosts some of the biggest annual events in town, including Wine Down Shop Small and the Christmas Fair.
Sam Houston Memorial Museum
Explore Sam Houston’s homestead and get to know what life was like in Texas’ early years at the Sam Houston Memorial Museum. Historical buildings stand throughout the serene 15-acre complex, which is also home to a museum store full of souvenirs and other gifts. Living history demonstrations are held on Saturdays in the fall and spring, and Wednesdays during the summer.
