Our dress code is Formal Attire — Black Tie Encouraged. We’d love for everyone to embrace the occasion and dress up with us! Think floor-length or elevated midi dresses, elegant jumpsuits, suits, or tuxedos. And, of course, we kindly ask that guests leave white, ivory, and bridal shades for the bride.
Our celebration will take place throughout the beautiful spaces at Pleasantdale Château, with opportunities to enjoy and explore both the indoor and outdoor grounds, weather permitting. If the weather cooperates and we’re lucky enough to have a warmer fall day, our ceremony may be held outdoors. Since late October weather can be unpredictable, we recommend bringing a coat or warm layer. Complimentary coat check will be available!
Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited. If a plus-one has been included with your invitation, their name or an option to add their name will appear when you RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding!
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration unless children are specifically named on your invitation. We hope this gives parents the opportunity to enjoy a special night out with us!
Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or food allergies when you RSVP so that we can make sure you’re taken care of.
Pleasantdale Château welcomes guests with mobility needs and offers accessible accommodations. Because the celebration may take place throughout different areas of the château and its grounds, we encourage anyone with specific accessibility needs to reach out in advance so we can help make your experience as comfortable as possible.
The reception concludes at 10PM but the celebration doesn’t have to end there! If you decide to take one of the shuttles back to the hotel at the end of the evening, please check back here closer to the wedding for information regarding overnight parking at Pleasantdale Château.

We’re so excited to celebrate in a place with so much history! Pleasantdale Château sits on a beautiful 40-acre estate, with portions of the property dating back to 1835. In 1912, industrialist Charles Walter Nichols began acquiring the surrounding farmland to create his country estate, later building the château with inspiration from the Norman architecture of Northern France and Southern England. Over the years, Pleasantdale has also had its share of Hollywood magic! The estate has served as a filming location for productions including The Sopranos, Law & Order: SVU, Cadillac Records and, most recently, Happy Gilmore 2. You may even recognize parts of the château, grounds, pond, and music room on screen. The estate is also said to have a connection to the memorable pool scene in Cocoon! We hope you’ll take some time during the weekend to wander, explore, and enjoy this very special place with us. Want to learn more?
