Will I need to have a Covid-19 test done before I travel to Mexico?

Answer

No. Proof of a negative test is not required when flying into the country. However, most resorts require you to fill out a health questionnaire upon check in. This info is correct as of March 19th, 2021. Please double check it yourself before traveling.

Will I need to have a Covid-19 test done before I travel back to the US?

Answer

Yes. You'll need to provide a negative test result at the airport. The Royalton is providing free tests to all resort guests staying a minimum of 3 nights. The test can't be taken more than 3 days before you plan to travel and it can also take up to 3 days for the results to be returned to you. It is advised that you schedule your test upon check in. Tests are required for all travelers over the age of 2 even if you've had your vaccination. This info is correct as of March 19th, 2021. Please double check it yourself before traveling.
