FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Our wedding is Formal or Black Tie optional, meaning women should wear floor length dresses or gown and men should wear formal tuxedos or suits.

Question

What time should I arrive at Holy Name of Mary Catholic church?

Answer

Please arrive and be seated fifteen minutes prior to the ceremony. We kindly request a quiet and respectful atmosphere.

Question

What is the parking situation like?

Answer

Parking is free at the church property and street parking is also available. For the reception, there is plenty of parking, secure and free of charge.

Question

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We will be indoors for the reception. Cocktail hour will be on the first floor to your right upon entry. The dinner service will be at the main ballroom upstairs. It is accessible via stairs or elevator.

Question

There is a Catholic gap, what should we do?

Answer

Following the Church wedding ceremony you are free to hang around for a couple minutes, but there will be a 2 pm wedding booked after us, so please feel free to head back to your hotel rooms or homes if you wish. Allow some time to arrive at Vellano Estate for the cocktail hour by 4 pm so that you can enjoy and mingle with others before the dinner service program.

Answer

There is no specific color preference for guest attire. Guests are welcome to wear any color, with the exception of ivory or white, which are reserved for the bride.

Answer

Barong and Filipiniana attire are warmly welcomed. Natural tones, including beige, are permitted. We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing all white.
