When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving Thursday if you’d like to join us for skiing and mountain activities on Friday! If not, we recommend arriving by Friday afternoon at the latest so you can settle in and join us for the welcome dinner and weekend festivities.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Durango-La Plata County Airport (DRO) will likely be the easiest airport option for most guests. Albuquerque (ABQ) and Denver (DEN) are also options for guests planning a road trip or extending their stay.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

We recommend renting a car if you plan to explore the area throughout the weekend. Depending on guest interest, we may also help coordinate shared rides or shuttle transportation from the airport.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

March weather in the mountains can vary quite a bit! Expect cold mornings and evenings, possible snow, and changing mountain conditions. We recommend bringing warm layers, winter shoes, and allowing extra travel time when driving through the mountains.

We’ll be coordinating a mix of shared lodging throughout the wedding weekend, including Elkwood Manor and a nearby group house for many guests and family members. More details will be shared directly with guests as we get closer to the wedding weekend. If you would prefer to stay at a hotel or separate accommodations instead, please let us know and we’d be happy to help coordinate options nearby.

The ceremony and wedding weekend may include both indoor and outdoor elements depending on weather, so we recommend dressing warmly and bringing layers!

Absolutely! We’d love to celebrate with your little ones. Children under 4 are free at our venue — we just ask that you please let Hannah and Omari know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
