Colleen and Beka met in 2008 while going through Air Force basic training together. While completing their follow-on job training, they became inseparable, spending practically every weekend together for a year straight. They continued to stay close as they moved from Texas, to California, and back to Texas again. In 2010, they parted ways as the Air Force sent them to 2 different duty stations. However, they continued to trade countless visits and hour-long weekly phone calls to help mitigate the distance. Today, they are more sisters than friends. Beka is the Godmother to Colleen's 2 adorable sons. She also continues to tolerate Brian, Colleen's husband. :)
Drew Hernandez

Omar and Andrew met in 2001 at WestWood High School. When they met, an instant bond was formed that went beyond friendship and was more of a brotherhood. Their adolescence is tale of shared experiences. They even started a rock band together and played the local rock scene in Arizona and Las Vegas. Later, Omar left to pursue a career in the Army, and this tested their friendship. But their commitment to staying in contact while he serves has proven that distance can never separate this lasting bond that will forever stand the test of time.
Lisa Campbell

Also on the military side of the family, Lisa served in the Air Force with Beka as well. They met while attending career training at Goodfellow AFB, Texas in 2010. They both then moved to Georgia and continued to build their friendship while they both built their careers. Beka was even Lisa's Air Force supervisor for a bit. Even though the military and now civilian life (for Beka, at least) has separated them geographically, they are still just as close as they have been for the last 8 years. Anytime Beka needs honest no-holds-barred advice, Lisa is her go-to girl.
Willie Cabrera

Willy was the middle child of the family and the youngest of the Cabrera brothers. Omar cared for his little brother and taught him while he was young the importance of responsibility, integrity, and of family. As Willy grew older, Omar realized the impact he had on him when he started to notice a number of his own personality traits that were imprinted on Willy. From wearing similar clothes to having similar hair styles, it is easy to see that Omar was a great influence on Willy. The main trait they share, if you ask Omar, is their shared passion for cars. If you don't find the two playing video games together, you will likely catch Omar and Willy joy riding in Willy's Audi.
Bené Knowles

Beka met Bene during a job-related training in Los Angeles in 2014. They were forced to bunk together in a room without a proper door in a house full of men. Needless to say, they immediately bonded over the craziness. In fact, Bene sustained Beka's sanity during that training by introducing her to the plethora of cat videos on YouTube. Beka would end up being Bene's Air Force supervisor for a number of years. They became the closest of friends and were even mistaken for each other on occasion. Bene has also been the only one to successfully drag Beka out on the dance floor for years.
Demetrio Cabrera

Omar and Demetrio met on November 22, 1989 when Omar finally had the little brother he always been wanting. From there, endless trouble commenced with pillow fights, backyard wrestling, and riding bikes around Mesa. Their love for video games brought them even closer together. Many nights, Elvia (Mother) would yell at them to go to bed as their quests to beat Mario 3 would go late into the night. Now as grown men, the yelling from their mother is more often due to them staying out late when they hit the bars for some drinks. Their bond continues to grow as they continue to share experiences in their lives. They are currently placing bets on who will become an uncle first.
