Arriving By Plane

The nearest is the Tijuana International Airport, this lands you directly in Mexico. You're certainly welcome to see if flights to and from Tijuana work well for you, but if you're flying in from anywhere in the US, the domestic flights will probably be more direct and more cost-effective than flying internationally. The next closest airport is the San Diego International Airport or you can land either in LAX (Los Angeles) or ONT (Ontario).

Arriving By Car

The best way to get to Ensenada is to drive. You will be crossing an international border during this drive so please make sure to bring your passport and/or proper documentations with you prior to crossing the border. Crossing the border from the US into Mexico should be a breeze. There's almost never a line of cars to get into Mexico and you are rarely stopped to show your passport. It's about a 90 minute drive to get from San Diego to Ensenada. Important: There are toll roads on the way to Ensenada and back that are CASH ONLY. The total amount to get to the venue and back to the US will be under $20 USD or 300 pesos. The wait times coming back to the US tend to be a lot longer. Please budget extra time if you need to be somewhere at a specific time. The time spent queued up bumper to bumper can vary from 1 hour to 4 hours (longest wait times being on Sunday afternoons & evenings). There are shorter wait times for people who have Global Entry or SENTRI passes (usually 30min - 1hr), but ALL the people in the car need to have a valid Global Entry / SENTRI pass, not just the driver.

Shuttle

Shuttle Vans: Eastvale to Ensenada

We’ve arranged two vans, each with space for 14 passengers, to help with transportation to and from the wedding weekend. The cost is $90 per person one way. Pickup will be on Friday morning in Eastvale, and return will be Sunday night following the post-wedding celebration. Seats are first come, first serve, so please let us know as soon as possible if you’d like to reserve a spot!
