Our wedding takes place on the White River National Forest. You can hike, camp, backpack, fish, mountain bike, and enjoy the water all in one area. Visit the Forest Service website for more info and maps. You can also visit the Eagle-Holy Cross Ranger Station or the Dillon Ranger Station for maps and permits. Some of our favorite hikes are Lily Pad Lake trail outside Frisco, Upper Piney trail outside Vail, and Elliott's Ridge Trail outside Heeney.
Lake Dillon is the largest body of fresh water in Summit County. At the Dillon Marina, you can rent boats, kayaks, SUPs, and more and have a great day on the water.
A popular way to have an intimate and unique experience through the scenic I-70 mountain corridor.
A favorite of ours. Right outside Idaho Springs, CO. Scenic mountain views are offered from this year-round glacier overlooking a lake reached via a short hike, less than half a mile. While it is short, the hike is steep and can feel intense at the high elevation. But it is so worth it! You must pay to park at the trailhead.
Check out an old mine where the Gold Rush began in Idaho Springs, CO.
Not only can you attend some of the best concerts here. But this natural amphitheater is also a public park by day! Walk along the trails that wind through the tall rock formations and get good views of the city of Denver.
If you like beer, then we highly recommend this tour! Watch the factory in motion that makes one of the most popular beers on the planet. You'll get three super fresh complimentary beers during your tour. Then, you can grab a bite to eat in the cool town of Golden, CO.
