Question

What is the road like up to the cabin?

Answer

Notch Mountain Road is narrow and rocky but is passable for most passenger cars. If you are renting a car, we would recommend renting a 4WD, but a 2WD car should be fine.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot in front of the cabin. There should be plenty of space for guests.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are not providing any scheduled transportation. If you are interested in carpooling with other guests, let Allen and Olympia know and we will help you in arranging that.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire is smart casual (dressy casual). We want you to be comfortable and look nice! It's between casual and business dress codes. We are not asking for formal attire. Please refrain from t-shirts and shorts. Visit this website if you need to learn more: https://www.forbes.com/sites/meghanbiro/2023/05/23/how-to-dress-smart-casual-what-you-need-to-know/ Keep in mind we will be celebrating outside at 10,000 feet. Average temperatures will be in the 70s. Weather can change fast and afternoon showers can occur in the summer. So be prepared for the small chance of inclement weather. The party will be moved inside the cabin should that occur.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

No, we do not. Gifts are certainly not required. However, if you would like to give a gift, we will humbly accept donations to our travel/life fund. Cash, checks, or Venmo are great methods. Venmo: @ Olympia-Vida
