Question

Why is the wedding on a Sunday?

Answer

I know we are all tired of hearing about COVID, but the wedding industry has been hit hard by the effects of it. When we started our wedding planning journey, finding a venue in our price range that would take place in 2023 was very challenging. The best option that worked for us ended up being on a Sunday. The venue is gorgeous, the owners are amazing and we can't wait to share it all with you!

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We really struggled with this decision. Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to limited capacity and seating. With respect, we ask that this be an adult-only party. We love you, we hope you can understand.

Question

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Answer

Over the Vines is very strict about their no carry-in policy. Please do not bring any alcohol of your own to drink. If you plan to bring any bottles as a gift, please ensure they are sealed shut and remain at the gift table only, thank you!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our venue has limited capacity, so if we gave you a plus one on your RSVP then yes, absolutely bring a date and have fun!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 3:15 to get parked and take your seats. When you arrive you'll see there's a one way drive, so you can't miss where to go. Take the driveway around the venue, and you'll find parking as you go. Over the Vines staff should be around to guide you where to park.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There should be plenty of parking on site for both the ceremony and reception. When you enter the venue, there is signage of where to go. It's one big loop, so you can't really miss the parking.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We'd like to have RSVP's back by August 1st to be able to give final guest counts to our vendors. Thank you!

Question

Is there a shuttle?

Answer

The short answer, is no. The hotels in Stoughton are just out of range to have shuttles run to the venue unfortunately.

Question

Can we leave our cars parked at the venue over night?

Answer

Yes! However, they must be off the Over the Vines property by 10 a.m. the next morning - and they are pretty strict about that. They will tow after 10 a.m.!

Question

Can we bring sparklers or silly string for your send-off?

Answer

No - Over the Vines is a vintage wine barn, and they require that we not use any send-offs that use open flames or anything that could damage the property. Thank you!

Question

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

The official color is terracotta and marine - it's a navy blue

Question

Are there any colors I shouldn't wear?

Answer

Please don't wear white, and please avoid wearing the color lavender. As lavender appears white in the right lighting. Thank you!

Question

How can I share my photos with you?

Answer

We have a QR code that will be set up on the gift table, scan that code and share your photos and videos from our wedding day there! We can't wait to see what you all capture!

Question

Will there be a gift opening?

Answer

Danny and I leave for our honeymoon on Tuesday in the very early morning, so following the wedding, Monday will be a lot of preparation for us to leave. In lieu of a gift opening, we would like to do an unwrapped gift table. If you plan on bringing a wedding gift, please leave it unwrapped, and be sure to fix your card to the gift or write down your gift inside your card so we know it was from you!
