Flight
Kraków Airport
There is multiple ways of getting to Poland however Kraków Airport (John Paul II International Airport Krakow Balice - KRK) is the route we most frequently take and would recommend. All your usual airlines offer flights here directly from most English airports. Our most repeated route is from London Stansted to Kraków Airport with Ryanair. Flights last approximately 2 hours and Kraków is just under a 2 hour commute from our venue. If you wish to explore different parts of Poland and not fly to Kraków, alternate airports include Warszawa and Łódź (although we have not visited these!) If booking Warszawa please note whether you are going to Warszawa Chopin (which is closer to the city of Warszawa), or Warszawa Modlin (which is far more rural and remote, therefore commuting links are limited). Both Łódź and Warszawa are again an approximately 2 hour commute to the venue.
Rental Car
Kraków Airport Car Hire
If you fancy doing some exploring before and/or after the wedding a hire car may be of benefit! There is a large variety of rentals available directly out of the terminal at Kraków Airport. There are alternate modes of transport if you don't want to face the challenges of left-hand drive. For those hiring cars please remember to drive on the right side of the road (literally!). Although it takes some getting used to, this is our favourite mode of transport :)
Train
Kraków Airport to Kraków Central
If you wish to commute via a train - you will first need to travel from Kraków Airport into Kraków Main Station. There are frequent trains which run from the airport to the station, alternatively there is a taxi stand just outside the terminal, or Bolt and Uber are also available. If you find yourself with some spare time - Kraków Main Station is based just outside a shopping centre, or a 10 minute walk into Kraków Old Town. Luggage storage is available at Kraków Main Station.
Train
Kraków Main Station to Kielce
Tickets for trains from Kraków Main Station to Kielce Main station can be purchased from the website linked, or alternatively directly from the ticket office at the station. We would strongly recommend looking at timings of trains prior to travelling as some trains are long slow trains with frequent stops. Trains marked IC are the InterCity link and these usually take around 2 hours. Taxis, Bolt and Uber are also available once you arrive in Kielce. Alternatively there are also public buses available.

Coaches with FlixBus are also available from Kraków Main Station to Kielce. Tickets for trains from Kraków Main Station to Kielce Main station can be purchased from the website linked. Based in a quiet rural setting, in a forest, by a lake. Good transport links into Kielce city which is just under a 10 minute drive away. Mostly hotel rooms however some apartments available.

Lots of other options are available via booking.com. We often stay in an apartment in Cedzyna. There is plenty of options available to suit various groups. All based in a quiet rural setting, within a forest by a lake, with good transport links into Kielce city which is just under a 10 minute drive away.

Although we have not stayed in any hotels in Kielce - this is the City approximately 10 minutes away from where our reception will take place. There are more accommodation options available in Kielce so feel free to explore elsewhere - although these may not be as accessible to the venue but may be kinder on the wallet!
