You can rent a car easily at the airport if you really want to, but you will not need a car! Remember they drive on the other side of the road. Uber works! There is also bus', taxis, and everywhere in Manly is an easy walk, there also if the ferry that takes you into the city and anywhere you need to go. Its all VERY easy to use.
