L: The relationship Isabel keeps with her siblings is inspirational to how close family can be and even more astounding is the level it is kept at on a daily basis, which I am reminded of every time I leave the room so that they can talk on the phone.

L: My friend since high school, who has always taken the extra trouble to watch out for me when he thought I needed it and the worst fighting game partner you could possibly have. O: I am forever grateful to Addison for taking Louis' ticket to Resolution on New Year's Eve, so that Louis could come out to meet me, and even moreso for everything he did before handing Louis off to me.

O: My bonus little sister, who takes up a very big corner of my heart. Hailey was one of the first people in my extended family to meet Louis, and in the first fifteen minutes of meeting him she gave her stamp of approval to our marriage - I was twenty-two and Louis and I had been together less than six months. I couldn't imagine not having her with us to welcome in our marriage that she foretold years ago. L: It's difficult to understand today's youth, but when her enthusiasm shows, Hailey really brings her low-key brand of entertainment to the function that can only be described as genuine and endearing.

L: Broghan can have a very unattached and laid-back demeanor a majority of the time I see him, but when his siblings are involved, his goofy and enthusiastic characteristics start to show, which is a testament to the strong bond they all share. O: My baby brother, who always blows me away with his outrageous levels of tenacity, charisma, and ridiculousness and who I love with my whole heart.

O: Louis' gorgeous, awe-inspiring sister, who was the very first person to welcome me into their family and whose support has always come so easily and abundantly, whether it's been loud or soft. L: If you were to ask me, I would say my baby sister is the smartest and most confident-of-herself individual I've ever known. If you were to ask me again, I would say my baby sister is the most successful, eccentric person I've ever known in my life, and continues to succeed and eccentrify.

O: Shane's heart is one of the biggest in any given room, every time. I have so much love for Shane after years of witnessing how deeply and profoundly he loves his wife (and my good friend), Eva. Shane has put so much energy into supporting and giving love to Louis and I's relationship, and I can't be grateful enough.

L: Raf and I have been friends since middle school, high school bully and brother till the end. A lovable and passionate goofball who makes sure everything works out in the end. O: Something about being Louis' first bully really made him say "and I'll be the last." Raf is always going to throw his weight behind the ones he loves wholeheartedly, and he's been unwaveringly in Louis' corner since I've known him.

O: My very loved friend of over twenty years, who makes my life more magic all the time and who knows my heart so well. L: The friendship Abigail and Olivia share is a jointly entangled one, sharing so many aspects of each other's lives together despite the distance. Even I feel included in their friendship through Olivia, which has been a cherished experience. I've noted they are a duo who bring out the most chaotic sides of each other, I don't believe I could ever keep up with them for my own health.

L: The second half of my dynamic high school duo, has always been one to get me out of and into trouble and will always be the friend I can rely on. O: Louis regularly credits Kai as being one of his earliest friends and one of the first to teach him how to Show Up for others, whether that was being the one to reach out, being the one to make the plans, or being the one to rally the friend group. Kai has been a long distance friend for the last few years, which speaks all the louder in his showing up, again, for Louis on our wedding day.

O: My very well-loved friend from high school days, who continuously inspires me to a better state of being and who is a testament to the sacredness of relationships and is genuinely one of my favourite people on the planet in every state of her being. L: Talented artist and dry humor enthusiast, I've always seen the friendship between Olivia and Mia as one of limitless support. The way these two will go the distance for one another is incredible and I am grateful to know she will always have a loyal and lasting friend at her side.

L: JOSE OCHOA!! My friend since middle school and the closest embodiment of hype through literally just existing. I've never known anyone's presence alone to bring so much joy to friends. The guy I can always trust and count on even if we haven't talked for weeks at a time. O: Jose sees all the good in people and he makes sure they see it, too, because he reflects his love for his friends back onto them with so much enthusiasm and without reservation. Jose is immeasurably kind, immeasurably generous, and I am immeasurably happy over the friend he has always been for Louis and to now count him as one of my friends, too.

L: One of my best friends since middle school and despite the distance no matter how long its been we'll always catch up like its been only yesterday. One of the funniest and truest friends I've ever had, and strongest teammate I'll ever make. O: John-Paul is another one of Louis' early friends who has withstood tests of distance and time. Louis has hyped John-Paul up to me for years by now, and I'm so excited to finally be meeting him to share our wedding day!

L: Christina always has been and always is incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming of me into her family. L: My wonderful, spectacular mother who has given her absolute most and impossibly more to her family. If unconditional love could be personified she would be the closest thing, and I strive hard to be able to become as graceful and loving as she is when the opportunities arise. O: Louis started gushing to me about his mom right away when we met - sooner than would be advisable even. The picture he painted of the woman that she is was impossibly glowing and yet it still managed to underserve her. From the first time I met her, I have been so deeply moved by Tere's strength and kindness. That feeling has only flourished and compounded since then, and I don't think I'll ever find a cap for it.

L: My stepdad and a pillar of my family, who has shown immeasurable patience and support for all these years he has been in our lives. The one person I don't believe could ever fail if he sets his mind to something. O: Tony is steadfast, pragmatic, and, graciously, very patient whenever I have asked him for help with translating things for me. Once I asked him to translate, both information about and return questions in regards to, 17th century architecture during the town tour in Jamay, which in hindsight was very much not his problem. He's measured and intentional in so much of what he does, and so much of what he does is entirely for his family.

L: My father who has always emphasized the importance and strength of family as well as the virtue of patience and keeping a calm, open mind. O: Louis' dad makes his time with family count whenever he has the chance to, and loves to see and cheer for each of his kids succeeding in different areas of their lives.

O: My Uncle Craig, who baptized me in McGowan Church just about twenty-seven years before he'll be marrying Louis and I there, and who I am incredibly grateful for. It's so special and impactful to us that our marriage vows taken before God also get to be shepherded by family. L: Craig has been very welcoming to me and I appreciate how much he cares for his family. I am thankful that we have the chance to have our wedding ceremony presided over by Olivia's uncle.

The wedding arras are thirteen coins given to symbolize prosperity and good fortune for our marriage and for our future together. The person who gifts the arras is someone trusted by the couple and who symbolizes the blessing and support for the marriage union. L: My aunt Malena has shown me how simple gestures can spread so much love and just how precious those moments can become. When I see her give so much just through how she cares for her family, I am always inspired to be able to spread kindness in the same powerful ways she does, and I hope I always will be able to. O: Malena is a force of nature, and pours her heart into everything she does. She is always moving, always caring, and is the biggest blessing for most anyone whose life she touches. She has unconditionally and loudly supported and loved Louis and I - both together and in our selves. We are so grateful to have her blessing our marriage.

The wedding lasso tradition is placed over the couple's shoulders and symbolizes their everlasting union and status as one. The Padrinos placing the lasso over the couple are often another couple whose marriage the newlyweds would like to emulate. O: Vero's kindness, beauty, and grace radiates off of her. The moment that Louis and I told his family we were engaged, she talked to me about her experiences as a young bride marrying into the Jimenez family. With all of the transparency and sweetness under the sun, she opened up to me and shared part of herself, while also checking in on me privately and kindly, which I am so grateful for. L: Vero has always been an incredibly perceptive and empathetic figure in my life, genuinely looking out for others and seeing where she can help if the opportunity arises. I'm very honored to have such a loving and beautiful soul willing to be an important symbol in our marriage to emulate and look towards.

L: My godfather tio Nando is one of the most joyous figures I've had in my life, whenever he enters the room until he leaves the party he always makes sure everyone is smiling and laughing. He has always inspired me to embrace the loud sides of my family and really take part in the fun that goes on which I'll always hold close. O: Nando met Louis and I's engagement with unbridled enthusiasm and support, which is also how he approaches most anything related to his family. He is constantly doing the most that he can to bring more joy, more laughter, and more heart to time with family, and we are very grateful to have him place that same warmth and heart over the earliest moments of Louis and I's marriage.
