FAQs

The Wedding Website of Olivia Leaman and Daniel Bello
Question

What is the recommended way to fly to Punta Sal?

Answer

For those who do not live in Peru, you will need to fly to Lima, Peru (LIM). After the first flight, within the same airport, proceed to the Domestic Flights section, where you will take the second flight to Talara, Peru (TYL). There are approximately 4-9 flights per day, so consider this when planning your itinerary. For those who do live in Peru, only a domestic flight to Talara is required. While it is possible to fly to other locations and then reach the resort, coordinating transportation will be easier if everyone arrives at the same airport.

Question

Once I arrive at the Talara Airport, How Do I Get to the Punta Sal Resort?

Answer

Talara Airport is a small aiport, so no worries of getting lost! On-Site Guest: Once you have your flight information for both arrival and departure, contact Ingrid at ibonilla@puntasal.com.pe or via WhatsApp at +51 972 436 696. Inform her of your flights, and she will arrange transportation provided by the resort. There are options for groups of up to 15 people and private options (each with respective prices). Upon exiting the airport, look for a chauffeur holding a sign that says Punta Sal Suites & Bungalows Resort. They will verify your names on the list and escort you to the vehicle. The trip to the resort from the airport is roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes. Off-Site Guests: We have a trusted transportation contact who will take care of all your transportation needs throughout the entire wedding weekend (including airport pick-up/drop-off and wedding resort pick-ups/drop-offs). Please contact Kevin Inoñan via WhatsApp at +51 972 694 875 and mention the name, Daniel Bello, so that he knows you are part of the wedding weekend. Once you have your flights and beach house rental locked in, please contact Kevin, and provide him the details of your arrival, departure, and Airbnb rental address.

Question

What is the resort room reservation booking process?

Answer

On-Site Guests: The entire resort will be blocked for these two days for the wedding guests. Room availability will be based on a "First-come, First-served" basis. The resort will fill up based on those who make reservations first. So, the sooner you do it, the better for you! To reserve your rooms, please contact Ingrid at ibonilla@puntasal.com.pe or via WhatsApp at +51 972 436 696. Give her your name and number of people in your party. Ingrid will then provide all information about available rooms and their costs. Additionally, you can reserve your room with the respective deposit through her. Please let Ingrid know if you live OUTSIDE of Peru. Please do not be confused by the prices on the main resort website, as discounts apply for this wedding, and food is included for all resort guests! All this information will be provided to each person when contacting Ingrid. Off-Site Guests: Please refer to the 'Stay' section of the website.

Question

Is there a minimum number of nights I must book for Punta Sal Suites & Bungalows Resort?

Answer

Yes! The resort requires guests to book a minimum of two nights. These days will be Friday, November 8th, and Saturday, November 9th. If you wish to stay more days before or after, simply inform Ingrid when making the reservation. The special price for the wedding and all-inclusive meals will apply to the days you choose to stay. Remember that the resort is reserved for invited guests only on Friday, November 8th, and Saturday, November 9th. The other days are technically open to the general public. Therefore, the earlier you make reservations for earlier or later days, the better chance you have of availability!

Question

What if the resort is fully booked?

Answer

If the resort is fully booked, please visit the 'Stay' section of our website with other wonderful accommodation options. Please keep in mind that the places we selected are recommended options. There are also other Airbnb’s and hotels in the area if the options we provided are not available or do not match your group size.

Question

Is there a deadline to book rooms?

Answer

Yes! MAY 18th is the deadline to book rooms for both the resort and accommodations outside of the resort. Please remember that all reservations are based on the "First-come, First-served" basis. So, although there is a deadline, the resort and off-site accommodation options may fill up prior to May 18th.

Question

Is the food all inclusive with the resort reservation?

Answer

Absolutely! With your reservations, you will receive three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) regardless of the time you arrive or depart. For example, if your resort reservation starts at 2 pm on Friday, even if you miss breakfast that day, you can have breakfast on Sunday (if it's your last day).

Question

What is not included with the resort reservation?

Answer

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are not included. In addition, any recreational activities you want to do at the resort will be separate and be added to your final room bill. Tips are always appreciated, so we suggest bringing cash separately if you wish!

Question

When is it advisable to arrive and depart from the resort?

Answer

As mentioned above, the minimum stay is two days: Friday, Nov. 8th and Saturday, Nov. 9th. You can stay as many days as you want before or after that. For those in the U.S., remember that the Monday following the wedding is a national holiday (Veterans Day), so take advantage of that. Regardless, transportation service is available whenever you need it. Just inform Ingrid of your arrival and departure times.

Question

Is there a specified age limit for the wedding weekend?

Answer

Although we appreciate all your amazing children, due to the limited space of the resort and for the celebration, we appreciate your understanding regarding the decision to limit attendance to only those over 15 years of age.

Question

Answer

Women: Formal, Elegant & Chic Men: Sophisticated & Polished - ie. guayaberas, suits, or shirt and blazer
