In October of 2021, Olivia and Wolfgang met in Charlotte, North Carolina while Liv was working as a travel nurse and Wolf was in town studying to begin his career as a commercial airline pilot. On their first date, they talked for hours about where they come from, sports, travel, family, and hopes/aspirations (although if you ask Wolf, he would say this was three hours of answering questions about how airplanes stay in the sky and how he got the name Wolfgang). They then went to a game bar, where Wolf soon learned about Liv's competitive nature as she beat him at Skee-ball. Once Wolf met Liv's cat Laney, the rest was history! They have traveled the world together, lived in three different cities, supported each other as they advanced their careers and spent endless hours loving on sweet Laney and their new beautiful golden retriever Poppi.

Since the move to Florida, Liv had been wanting to do a sunset beach picnic. Wolf planned one, and made this date night one to remember by proposing to Liv on November 2, 2024 on the beach in the town that they now call home. Our moms had arranged for some of our close friends to be nearby to capture the moment for us! It was perfect. A funny story is that Liv and Wolf's favorite song is "Joy of my Life" by Chris Stapleton. As we pulled up to the proposal, this song started unintentionally playing on Spotify. We will never forget this - it was a sign that we were right where we were meant to be!
