- Direct flights to Nairobi from London, Cape Town and Johannesburg to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. *We would recommend a night flight that arrives in Nairobi early morning and then the 9am flight from Jomo Kenyatta (Terminal 1D) to Lamu for ease. - Nairobi to Lamu takes approximately 1.5 hours with Jambojet (from JKIA) and Skyward Express. *Alternatively, you can fly into Moi International Airport Mombasa(MBA) then take an internal flight to Lamu Airport (LAU) or a long, scenic bus ride via Malindi.

The flight from nairobi arrives into Manda Airport. From there, you will be picked up by our crew. Shela is an 8 minute boat ride from Panda airport.

Travel Note

E-VISA

E-visas can easily be obtained up to 48 hours before the travel date from the official government website. You will need; -Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity with at least one blank page) -Selfie or passport-type photo -Contact details (email & phone number) -Travel itinerary (arrival & departure) -Accommodation booking confirmation -Payment method (credit/debit card, etc.) Applications are generally processed within three (3) business days/72 hours but may take longer depending on the verification processes. It costs about £25 with processing fees.
