December 8th, 2021. You guessed it... Love during the lockdown. There's nothing like a global pandemic to make you realize who you can't imagine life without. We first met in 2021 via the dating app "Hinge" as most COVID-19 couples did. Olivia insists Lynn ghosted her for a few days, Lynn however thinks otherwise. We exchanged numbers, facetimed for hours upon hours and couldn't let the two hour distance come in between our new found attraction. Our connection was authentic, natural, alluring... some would say extraordinary. A week later, we went on our first date to Clemson Brewery. Who knew this upbeat, quaint little pub would play a major role in our happily ever after.

November 26th, 2022. We talked about our values and beliefs towards marriage and began planning a future together early on. Again, this love seemed inevitable and uncomplicated. Olivia being the suave and charming person she is, prepped Lynn early on for the proposal. She would ask about rings designs often and would even take Lynn to browse at jewelry stores. Little did Lynn know she'd plan her dream proposal with the help of Lynn's mother Ruthie and her close family/friends. Olivia rented out the entire brewery where they had their very first date. She purchased what seemed to be a small flower shop, planned an elaborate menu, and coordinated a surprise on how to get Lynn there. She told Lynn to be ready for their usual Saturday night dinner at 7. Only this time she blindfolded her and told her not to ask questions. Once we arrived, we were greeted by our favorite song "Everything" by Mary J. Blige, and Lynn immediately knew. Olivia asked Lynn to remove her blindfold and standing in front of her was a room full of roses and her closest family and friends. Each family member/friend held a rose and picture of the couple throughout our relationship. Tears filed Lynn's eyes as she walked across the room to see Olivia on one knee. In her hand was a stunning Neil Lane, 2 carat pear shaped engagement ring. Little did Olivia know that Lynn had been walking around with Olivia's dream ring (a Gucci white gold band) in her purse for months for this exact moment. They exchanged rings and embraced the love that filled the room. This truly felt like a scene from a movie, or a page out of a story book. It was evident that true love does exist and that we would both get to experience it together.
