Travel and Where To Stay
We’re so happy you’re making the trip to celebrate with us in Vancouver. The map above shows the locations of our home, wedding venues, and neighbourhoods that are convenient places to stay.
We recommend looking for a hotel or Airbnb in East Vancouver, especially around Hastings–Sunrise, Strathcona, Commercial Drive / Grandview-Woodland, or Mount Pleasant. These areas are close to most wedding events and offer great local food, cafes, and easy transit access. Downtown Vancouver, Yaletown, and Kitsilano are also lovely options, though slightly farther from some venues.
Vancouver is easy to get around by Uber, Lyft, public transit, or on foot, depending on where you’re staying.
After the wedding, starting August 10, we’ll be heading to Jacob’s family cabin on Hornby Island for the week. Friends and family are welcome to join us. If you’re interested in extending your trip, let us know and we’re happy to help with accommodation suggestions. Summer rentals book up quickly!
