Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is formal, black tie optional. Ladies: Opt for a gown, a formal long dress, or dress pant suit. Gentlemen: A tuxedo is not required but is still appropriate, as is a nice dark suit with a tie.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We politely request no children.

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party on Friday?

Answer

Casual! We will just be at a brewery, so wear whatever you're comfortable with!

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "[Your Name] & [Guest's Name]" if a plus one has been given to you.

Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride: whites, ivories, and creams.

Are guests able to take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests turn off and put away their cell phones and cameras during the ceremony to allow everyone to be present and enjoy the moment. We have hired professional photographers and videographers to capture this very special moment, which we will later share with all of our family and friends. In addition, we would like these photos to reflect the attention of our guests and not photobombs of various cell phones or cameras in the background. Thank you!

Do you have a room block at a hotel nearby?

Answer

Yes! At the Hyatt Regency Westlake Hotel. At this time, however, our room block is full.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be a complimentary valet service onsite; valet parking is required at this venue. There will also be a shuttle to and from the Hyatt Regency Westlake Hotel (where our room block is).

Where do I park?

Answer

When you enter Calamigos Ranch, follow the signs for The Birchwood Room! That is where we will be getting married.

Is there a shuttle from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Yes! The shuttle will pick up guests staying at the hotel before the wedding and bring them to the venue. Please be ready for pickup by 2:30 pm. The shuttle will also take guests back to the hotel when the reception has ended.

If I am staying at the hotel, what time will the shuttle pick me up to take me to the venue?

Answer

Please be ready to board the shuttle by 2:30 pm!

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

Yes! The entire ceremony and reception will be outside! Don’t worry - we don’t expect it to be hot! LA has what is called June Gloom so we expect temperatures around the high 70s during the day and to drop lower in the evening.
