Fox In The Snow Cafe
The best egg sandwich you'll ever eat. And big, incredible pastries. And great coffee. Expect it to be busy (but worth it!)
Schiller Park
German Village's main park. We got engaged under the big tree at the corner of Jaeger and Reinhard! Expect lots of cute dog sightings.
Stauf's Coffee Roasters
Local delish coffee chain on the main drag in German Village, conveniently located next to the Book Loft.
The Book Loft of German Village
A must-visit in German Village. 42 rooms of books and an Instagrammable walkway/garden.
The Sycamore
Cozy neighborhood restaurant with small patio for drinks and dinner. Tasty guac. Decent happy hour. Recommend going in a small group or making reservations.
Roosters
Grant goes here with #theboyz at least once every two weeks. Super casual sports bar. Solid wings.
Lindey's
Upscale, classy, delicious. We've never had a bad bite here. Voted best patio in Columbus many times.
Barcelona
Spanish restaurant a stone's throw away from our place. Unbeatable happy hour (4-7, $5 tapas and drinks). For dinner, get a paella.
Pistacia Vera
Fancy fresh pastries that look like works of art and taste like heaven. Cute patio.
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams
Practically synonymous with Columbus these days. A must try if you haven't. We tagged the walk-up window location down the street from our place, next to Schiller Park, but there are several other scoop shops with a bigger selection throughout Columbus.
The Walrus
Approachable bar/restaurant. Do yourself a huge favor and get the short rib sliders.
Condado Tacos Downtown
Casual, affordable, craft-your-own-taco-on-a-Scantron joint. Awesome queso. Love the flavored margs.
Seventh Son Brewing Co.
Fun, large brewery with tours available and great beer. This is a super special place to us because it's where our surprise engagement party took place. Oh and say hi to Horatio, aka Assistant Manager Cat.
Cosecha Cocina
Upscale Mexican place with awesome tacos and salsas and a really cool atmosphere.
Wolf's Ridge Brewing - Taproom
The BEST garlic fries in the city. Huge, delicious portions. Great beer. For an incredible and fancy meal, go to the main restaurant upstairs.
Brewdog Franklinton
Right next to the wedding venue; great spot to go after the reception. Upstairs patio with a stunning view of the city skyline.
Land Grant Brewing Company
Right next to the wedding venue as well; great spot to go after the reception. Sports-centric brewery. BBQ food truck often out front, too.
Arch City Tavern
Overall great food and atmosphere. Well-priced, in the hustle and bustle of the Short North. Their truffle fries are so good. So is everything else.
Brassica in the Short North
Local fast casual restaurant with pitas, bowls and salads. Think Chipotle, but Mediterranean. We always get falafel pitas.
Dewey's Pizza
Not too fancy, but not ordinary pizza. Tasty, casual chain in Grandview. Great salads, too. We love the Green Lantern or Edgar Allen Poe.
Bexley Pizza Plus
Grant's old stomping grounds (aka his job during high school and college breaks). No fuss, no frills – just really, really good pizza.
