If you’ll be joining the pre-wedding safari, we recommend arriving in Victoria Falls on July 23rd or 24th. You’re also welcome to arrive later and join the group along the way, just make sure to arrive before the wedding on the 27th! It is only a 3 hour drive from Victoria Falls to the wedding venue, so it's flexible on when you want to arrive. We can help arrange transport.
Most guests will likely fly out on July 30 or 31, depending on whether they join the post-wedding Namibia road trip safari.
Not at all! Everything outside of the wedding itself on July 27th is completely optional.
Yes - we will coordinate all transfers, road transport, and logistics throughout the trip.
We recommend lightweight neutral clothing, comfortable walking shoes, layers for cool evenings, swimwear, sunscreen, hats, and something a bit nicer for the wedding (not black tie, but dresses and button down shirts and nice pants for men)
You can bring some USD for Zimbabwe and then use your cards for Botswana and Namibia.
Most hotels and lodges will have WiFi, though service can be slower and more limited in remote areas. We're working on securing a Starlink for the wedding ceremony!
July is winter in Southern Africa — generally sunny and beautiful during the day, with cooler mornings and evenings. The coldest temperatures may be in the 40's-60's F.
