Where is the ceremony?

Answer

To navigate to the ceremony, please type in "Mountain Brook Community Church" rather than the address. Occasionally, typing in that address will lead you to the Birmingham Water Reservoir down the road, which is most certainly not where we'll be getting married!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Most people will begin arriving approximately 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you and your family! Children of family members are warmly welcome at the wedding ceremony, but we kindly ask that the reception be reserved for guests ages 13 and up. Thank you so much for understanding!

Can I bring a date?

We wish we could invite everyone, but due to space limitations, we’re only able to include the guests listed on your RSVP link. If you have a plus one, their name will show up when you RSVP. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! Think cocktail dresses and suits, but leave the tuxes and ballgowns at home.

What's the parking situation?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Mountain Brook Community Church with plenty of parking. The reception will be at The Gilded Lily in Irondale, which has parking in adjacent parking lots for neighboring businesses (which are closed on Saturdays), as well as street parking.
