Appalachian National Scenic Trail
We've been on many hikes along the trail and actually got engaged on the trail! Many different level hikes for whatever you are looking for! For specific routes we recommend the AllTrails app for IOS
Hershey
Only 20 minutes from the venue and we share so many memories here! Go to Permanti Bros for lunch or go to Hershey Park for a full day of rollercoasters. We definitely recommend going during the week if possible to avoid lines. Also, fun fact, the arena Olivia hockey played at through college is on the grounds of Hershey Park so you'd get to see that too.
New York
New York City is only 2.5 hour drive from the venue! We recommend taking the train in from New Jersey.
Philadelphia
Less than 1.5 hours from the venue! Try to see a Phillies game (Cody's favorite team) or get an authentic philly cheesestake
Washington D.C.
Washington D.C. is only 2.5 hours from out venue and is a must see if you haven't been!
Rehoboth Beach
The closest beach to wedding venue! About a 3 hour drive, perfect for a day trip!
Civil War Sites
There are lots of historical sites throughout south-central Pennsylvania such as Gettysburg and Valley Forge.
Boston
Boston is a little further, being about a 6 hour drive from the venue, but we highly recommend to make the trip if you have the time! Olivia spent the summer of 2022 doing research here! We recommend the Freedom Trail, sitting at the Boston Commons, and Regina's Pizza.
