Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at the venue. The ceremony will be outside in front of a beautiful pond and the reception will take place in the air-conditioned barn. There will not be much shade during the ceremony, so please be prepared.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our loved ones get dressed up with us for our big day! We are requesting cocktail attire for our wedding. Please, no jeans, t-shirts, or flip flops. Our color scheme is bright pastels, so feel free to bring the color!

What is the plan in case of rain?

Answer

We want to have our ceremony outside if at all possible! In the case of heavy rain, we have reserved a chapel nearby. Please come to the venue first; if the location has changed, someone will direct you towards the chapel.

Is There Parking on Site?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of room to park vehicles. However, if you plan on drinking, please consider utilizing the hotel shuttle or carpooling with an individual who will be sober at the end of the night.

Is there transportation from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Yes! We have carefully chosen a hotel that offers a shuttle to the venue and back at the end of the night. If you are an out-of-town guest or want a place to stay the night of the wedding, please consider booking in the hotel block.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We will be having a BBQ buffet at our wedding! Nothing tastes as good as comfort food on such a big day! The buffet will be provided, including pulled chicken, sliced brisket, mac-and-cheese, mashed potatoes, garden salad, cornbread, rolls, and a bunch of sauces! A dessert station will also be present. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Will there be on open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have select beers, wines, and signature cocktails. Please plan accordingly and have a way to get home safely :)

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited to your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, it will appear on your invite. We want to keep our venue intimate with our closest family and friends.

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4 PM. Please arrive early enough to find the venue, park, socialize, and find a seat before the ceremony begins. We would appreciate it if everyone arrived 15 minutes before the ceremony at the latest .

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Immediately after the ceremony, immediate family (i.e., cousins and their families, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.) stick around for family portraits. After that, the bridal party will take photos around the venue for about an hour. Guests can enjoy cocktail hour with drinks, snacks, and activities.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kiddos, but we are asking guests to refrain from bringing kids unless otherwise stated on the invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "The {Your Last Name} Family" if your children have been invited. We are hoping this is a much-deserved night off for the parents!

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by the date specified on the formal invitation. Earlier is always appreciated! You can RSVP by clicking the tab in the menu above.
