FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1, 2026. As this is a destination wedding weekend, we kindly ask that you respond once your travel plans are confirmed. We appreciate your timely response!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Formal. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place outdoors by the water, so we encourage guests to dress accordingly for a beach setting — lightweight fabrics, breathable materials, and appropriate footwear (block heels, wedges, or dressy flats are recommended for grass and sand).

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive between 4:00 and 4:15 PM to allow time for seating before the ceremony begins.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. If you are not staying at the Islander Resort, we recommend using a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft. You may also use Freebee, a complimentary local rideshare service available in Islamorada (download the Freebee app in the App Store to request a ride). We encourage guests to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel, especially during peak weekend hours.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes — parking will be available at the Islander Resort for our wedding events on both Friday and Saturday. However, overnight parking is only permitted for registered resort guests. If you are not staying at the The Islander Resort, please make alternative transportation arrangements and plan to remove your vehicle at the end of the evening.
