Our first date was at Javier's which just so happened to be both of our favorite restaurant. Brennan showed up incredibly early with flowers in hand, and this is how I knew he was the one, he was the first boy to ever buy me flowers. It is fair to say we both knew we were getting married the day we met. We were so sure that flash forward two days later and I got to meet the entire extended Paddock family and spend the weekend with them. It was very impromptu but it led to some amazing memories, wonderful conversations, and feelings we would keep close to our hearts forever. After that, we were truly inseparable. Between going to rodeos, boating, countless haunted houses, Costa Rica, celebrating the holidays with our families and friends, top golf, playing with Gwen and Sebastian, craft nights, scary movie marathons, and supporting one another in every single sad, frustrating, and exciting time, we simply fell in love. In May, Brennan and I went to Europe together with my family. We flew into Milan, Italy! As we walked around my sister's college campus he diverted me down the prettiest corridor where the man of my dreams pulled out the ring of my dreams. He asked me to marry him and exclaimed he was going to wait for the end of the trip but could not contain his excitement. Of course, I said yes, and it was the easiest yes of my life. In June, Brennan and I closed on a house in North Salt Lake. He will be living there until we are married but it is a place where we get to share our lives together! So, the boy that first gave me flowers ended up being my eternal rock. I know and he knows that we will always have each other's backs and never fail to love the dorkiest truest versions of ourselves. I appreciate all the support we have gotten from friends and family and cannot wait to celebrate our love not just for each other but for the life we have made on October 4th. Get ready to party!
