We are so excited to celebrate with you! For those who want to coordinate travel or join us for the extended trip, here is our current schedule: September 30th: Departing from Kelowna. October 1st – 5th: Arriving in Edinburgh. We will be staying in a shared Airbnb. October 5th – 7th Wedding at Dalhousie. October 7th – 11th: Traveling by train to London, staying in a shared house. October 11th – 16th: Flying to Prague, staying in a shared house. Want to stay with us? We would love the company! We are organizing shared accommodations in Edinburgh, London, and Prague. Getting a group together is not only fun, but it will greatly reduce the cost for everybody sharing the space. If you are interested in grabbing a room with us in any of these cities, please let us know when you RSVP (or reach out to us right after). Our Booking Timeline We will be officially booking our flights in November 2026, and we'll be locking in the Airbnbs shortly after that. Please make sure to let us know your accommodation plans before then so we can book spaces large enough for everyone!

Since we’ll be traveling through the UK and mainland Europe, there are a few digital authorizations and new border rules to keep in mind. 1. The UK ETA (For Scotland & London) Everyone flying into the UK needs an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). Cost: £10. How to Apply: The easiest way is the free "UK ETA" app on your phone—it scans your passport and your face. You can also apply at gov.uk/eta. Timing: Valid for 2 years. We suggest applying right before you book your flights. 2. The New EU Entry/Exit System (EES) Important Note on Connections: As of April 2026, the EU has fully implemented a new biometric system. Instead of passport stamps, they now take a quick facial scan and fingerprints. Pro-Tip: Because this is a new digital rule, border control can be a bit congested. Please leave extra time for any flight connections within Europe, as the initial registration can take a few extra minutes per person. 3. The ETIAS (For Prague) For the leg of our trip to Prague, you will also need the ETIAS authorization. Cost: €20 (for travelers aged 18–70). Launch Date: This system is launching in late 2026. You can’t apply just yet, so please ignore any third-party websites claiming to sell them—those are scams!
