The wedding will take place on October 6th, 2027, at Dalhousie Castle Hotel & Spa.
We've worked hard to create an intimate celebration, so only the guests listed on your invitation are invited. If your invitation says +1 or a guest's name, then yes, we would love for them to join.
We adore your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.
The ceremony and reception will both be indoors, with some family portraits outdoors.
We will have a hotel block at Dalhousie Castle, which will become available to book closer to the date.
We'll miss you! Please RSVP "No" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
We kindly request that all guests please turn their phones off and put them away during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present and for our photographer to capture the best moments without a phone in your face! We do welcome as many photos as possible during the reception!
We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up on our big day! Dress code is formal attire or black tie optional. Ladies can wear a floor-length or tea-length dress. Gentlemen can wear a suit & tie, no jeans please! Please see our Pinterest board for inspiration!
You're way ahead of the game! The RSVP deadline will be included with formal invitations, but if you are for sure unable to make the wedding, please reach out to one of us!
The ceremony and reception will be held indoors, but we will have a few photos outside. The castle will also have stairs, so please keep this in mind!
We have listed many great activities, pubs, and attractions for Edinburgh on the "things to do" page.
We are updating the "Travel" page as things become available to book. If you need any help with booking your trip, we are more than happy to help!
Edinburgh Airport is the closest, only a 20-minute cab ride. If you are wanting help booking flights, please reach out to us. We are happy to help!
No visas are required, but please ensure your passport is valid for 6 months after the travel date.
Flights will become available to book approximately 11 months before the wedding. We suggest booking as soon as possible for the best rates.
Cool and crisp, with average highs around 12°C (54°F) and lows around 7°C (45°F). It can be breezy or drizzly, so pack layers, a light waterproof jacket, and comfy shoes for those cobblestone streets.
Yes! Scotland is a beautiful place to visit. Please see the "things to do" page for more! We will also be travelling to London for a few days after the wedding, and you are welcome to join us!
Credit cards are widely accepted, but having a little cash (GBP) is handy for small shops, taxis, or tipping.
Dalhousie Castle is historic and, unfortunately, does not have elevators. Guest rooms and some event spaces are only accessible by stairs. If you have mobility concerns, let us know so we can help you find the most accessible room or arrange assistance.
You can find all wedding events in the formal invitation, and the website will be updated with a full schedule.
