Olivia and Amanda first connect on a little app called Instagram back in August of 2020. Amanda found Olivia's account via a gardening hashtag and promptly slid into her DMs. After nearly a year of online friendship, they decided to finally meet in person in Amanda's backyard in June of 2021. They talked for nearly three hours over wine and port salut, marking the official beginning of the Friendship Era. Over the next two years, Olivia and Amanda were inseparable. Amanda could be found most nights sprawled out on Olivia's couch watching reality tv or raiding her pantry for the snacks that Olivia made sure to keep stocked for her. They did nearly everything together and soon started calling each other their platonic life partners. Oh, the irony. At the end of 2023, the platonic life partners took a totally normal best friends trip to a cabin in Idyllwild, where over Digiorno pizza and Jumanji, they realized they were in love with each other. it took a long while before they could actually be together, but once they did, they never looked back. In March of 2025 they took a trip to another cabin in Big Sur, and Amanda proposed in front of a waterfall right off the front porch. The first person that Olivia told was the local barn cat, which was absolutely perfect.
