In place of a wedding registry, we’ve chosen to honor Liv’s Italian heritage by embracing a long-standing Italian custom - the “busta.”
A busta (which literally means “envelope” in Italian) is a traditional way guests give their love and support to the newlyweds. Rather than purchasing household items, guests gift money in an envelope, often accompanied by a heartfelt note or card.
This tradition comes from a long-standing family history, and for us, it’s a way to honor that heritage, celebrating the values of generosity, community, and love that have been passed down through generations.
If you’d like to celebrate with us in this way, we would be so grateful to receive your warm wishes and a busta instead of a registry gift. Your thoughtfulness will help us begin this next chapter together, just as generations before us have done.
