Anna will always be my built in best friend. She is my ride or die. And take that literally because we pretty much have a near death experience every time we’re together, most of the time it being from lack of breath cause we’re laughing so hard. I think one day we just randomly realized that just because we’re cousins doesn’t mean we can’t be best friends too. Anna is my best friend not because she’s family, but because she make me laugh more than anyone I know, we share so many of the same hobbies and interests, she is such an unbelievably strong, confident, Godly woman, and every single time we’re together we end up staying up 24 hours straight because we just don’t wanna stop hanging out. Whether it’s having deep talks about life, doing puzzles till 5am, watching Disney movies till we’ve seen them all, laughing till we hurt ourselves, making scrapbooks, or dancing and singing to Alvin and the chipmunks, Anna will never not be my favorite person in the world. I wouldn’t want to be living this life without her. Anna do you hear me? I love you. (oh and she’s an okay singer too)

Isabel is my sister, so obviously I have to write something nice. I’m kidding. There just aren’t enough words in this box to explain how much Isabel means to me. How do you write out a lifetime of memories with your only sister? Isabel is my sister by God’s grace, but she’s my friend by choice. She has been there for me through every stage of life, and I know without a doubt she’ll be there for me for all the rest. Isabel is one of the funniest people I know and I can always count on her for a good laugh, coffee run, late night talk, or just to hangout in eachothers rooms. There’s something about a sister bond that will never compare to the friendships you have. It’s a bond that lasts for life through the good and the bad. Every day moving forward I will oh so miss hanging out with her, but I know nothing will ever break the friendship we have. I love my sissy. <3

I could never in a million years have asked for a better sister in-law than Sarah. I don’t even think of her as a sister in-law, she’s just my sister. Sarah is the funniest, sweetest, kindest, most caring, gentle, and compassionate woman you’ll ever meet. Watching her marry my brother, become one of my best friends, and become a mother to my nephew has been one of the greatest joys of my life. She is one of the strongest people I know and I don’t know what I’d do without her. She is way too good for my brother and I hope he knows it. To know her is truly to love her. She’s someone you never want to stop spending time with, and she’s always there to laugh with me, listen to me, and is always down for any adventure. I look up to her in a million ways and I’m so happy she’s stuck with me for life. I love you Sarah!!!

If there’s one thing you need to know, it’s that EVERYONE needs a Monica Lucero in their lives. Monica is the definition of a Godly friendship. She has shown me time and time again what it looks like to be a woman of God and a loyal friend. She is one of the smartest and most musically talented people you’ll ever meet, she is funny, she is kind to everyone she meets, she is wise and lovely, she is beautiful inside and out, she is Christ like and loyal, and she is a friendship that turned into family. She is forever my twin in every way, from being mixed up by random people and our own family members, to always saying the same thing at the same time, and our personalities and attributes being a little *too* similar. I will never be afraid to share my most personal things with her, because i know she will always listen, relate, and point me back to Christ. I will never stop recommending people to take at least a weekly, if not daily dose of Monica to survive the week. Because that’s what i need! I love you twin!!!

SAMANTHAAA!!! I can’t even begin to tell the tale of Samantha. If you need someone to be everything all at once, you need Samantha. She is my therapist, karaoke partner, dance partner, movie critic, fellow foodie, adventure buddy, and everything else. We have more memories than I could type out, and I wouldn’t trade a single one of them for the word. Anything I do with her will NEVER be boring. I could watch paint dry with her and we would have the time of our lives and talk about it for weeks after. She is the future auntie of my children whether she’s blood related or not. She will be a best friend for life. I’m talking bingo nights in our 80’s type of friend. I feel sad for everyone that doesn’t know Samantha because what a privilege it is. If you have Samantha as a friend you have a friend that will be a listening ear, never let you down, always have your back, always be a shoulder to cry on, never give you a boring time, always make you laugh, always show you kindness, and constantly be gracious and loving. I love her with all my heart & to the moon and back.

We met as freshmen at summer camp when we both ended up with no friends, and talk about a blessing in disguise. Even though we only got to see each other once or twice a year, never once did I not consider her my best friend, and never once did it feel like we weren’t as close as before. No matter how much time we spend apart, our friendship has never wavered. We’ve been together through the highest of highs, and the lowest of lows. She is someone who knows every good and bad thing about me, who has seen me at my best and my worst, who has shared so many experiences with me throughout our lives. From 5 years of camp together, to road trips and flights to visit each other, to becoming counselors together at the very camp we met, and spending the entire summer together. I could spend 3 summers with her and never get tired of her. And i genuinely don’t think i could do that with anyone else. There’s just something about our friendship that’s so easy and i cherish It more than i can ever explain. We’ve literally gone from fighting over the same guy at camp, to being in eachothers weddings a month apart. My life is made better every time i get to see her and her friendship is something I just couldn’t live without. We have laughed, cried, sang, road tripped, shared bunk beds, helped each other move every weekend, FaceTimed, counseled together, gone through high school together, gotten engaged together, and a million other things. I will never have another friend like Kennady.
