We met at Olivia's cousin's wedding. Olivia was a bridesmaid and Abhishek was a groomsman. We had never met or even knew each other's name or faces prior to the day of the wedding. We were paired to walk down the aisle together as bridesmaid and groomsmen. After making quick introductions, we hit it off really well, making jokes and having fun on a beautiful Friday afternoon. As the night went on, Abhishek began to grow an interest in this new pretty girl that he had just met. Wanting to know a bit more about her, he began to ask her cousin Anna about who this girl is, which continued to spark his interests in her. He promised Anna that he would ask Olivia out on a date and get her phone number by the end of the night, and soon, the wedding was over and the night was coming to a close. Unable to find Olivia after the wedding, he panicked and did not know what to do, when suddenly, right before he was about to give up his search for her and leave, he looked up and saw Olivia with some of the other bridesmaids directly in front of him a few feet away. He immediately ceased the opportunity and darted straight towards her, knowing that this was his only shot for the night. As soon as he walked up to her, he did not hesitate to ask, but he expressed his gratitude towards her for being able to hang out together for this wedding and asked Olivia if she would like to go out on a date sometime and if he could get her phone number. She was flattered and was thrilled to give him her phone number. The next day, Abhishek texted her, and within less than a week after meeting for the very first time, they went on their first date at Mac Rae Park in Des Moines on Thursday, May 23, 2024. Olivia and Abhishek hit it off super well once again and couldn't stop talking and laughing for the rest of the evening. This first date was quickly followed up by a second and a third date in a matter of just four days. By the end of their third date together, Abhishek asked both Olivia as well as her parents if he could date her, and the rest is history...
