Things To Do
The Nolen
Olivia and Wesley's favorite roof top bar in San Diego, and one of their first formal date spots! Fun fact, it was also their engagement location! See first photo on the "Photos" tab. The Nolen is near all major attractions in downtown SD including: Gaslamp, Seaport Village, and Little Italy.
Windansea Beach
One of the best beaches in San Diego, at least according to Wesley and Olivia. Amazing for sunset views! This is near La Jolla and Birdrock, home to Wayfarers, some of the best pastries around! Check out the Cove and while you're there see the Scripps Pier across the way!
San Diego Zoo Safari Park
Not too far from the reception location is the world renowned San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Olivia and Wes have had many a day date at this place as Olivia loves to look at the goats and lemurs (and turkey vulture) and Wes enjoys the tram around the 100+ acre safari excursion, where animals are able to roam amongst each other! The San Diego Zoo and Safari Park are stewards of conservation and have even brought some species back from the brink of extinction. Nearby is Stone Brewing which has an amazing beer garden! A perfect location to grab a meal and drink after a zoo day!
Coronado Island
We recommend visiting the island if you have some time as it is one of our favorite bike riding areas! It is also home to the famed Hotel Del Coronado where you can often find artists building elaborate sandcastles!
Balboa Park
Balboa Park offers many museums and gardens to explore. It also has Morely field, where Wes and Olivia have played many a disc golf matches against each other. Check out Spanish Village, home to many creative artists. The San Diego Zoo is also located in Balboa Park, you could spend a whole day without seeing it all!
